SHANE ANDERSON
Shane Anderson is the author of »After the Oracle« (Deep Vellum, 2021), which Publisher’s Weekly called a »memorable debut«. He is the English translator of Thomas Pletzinger, Ulf Stolterfoht, Henrike Naumann, Astrid Proll, and many of today’s leading German-language poets. He lives in Wuppertal and is Senior Editor at the media and fashion company 032c.

Lillian Ansell is a New York-based illustrator and designer whose work blurs the boundaries between graphic design and comics. She earned a master's degree in illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work has been published by the New York Times, Cambridge University Press, and Apollon Dossier, among others.

Chloé Calonec currently dwells in Athens. She started Cream, a magazine that just wants to be a bar, in 2026. Currently, she is focusing on renewing her membership at the association for tourists against tourism.
NINA CARELLI
Nina Carelli is a New York City based makeup and Special Effects (SFX) Artist, specializing in the intersection of beauty makeup and transformative custom prosthetics. Beginning with an illustration degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2010, her dedication to drawing and painting eventually gravitated towards a career in makeup, and in 2019 earned a degree from Makeup Designory (NYC) in special effects. She has established her craft working within the entertainment industry primarily in film, and with musicians creating notable album art and music videos. Her work has been featured on editorial magazine covers (Office, The Wire, Fucking Young!, Glam Cult, Crack Magazine, and more). She has also worked in collaboration with distinguished visual artists at Pace Gallery, Park Avenue Armory, Performance Space, The Kitchen, and Powerhouse Arts (all in NYC), as well as The Renaissance Society (Chicago).
IAN CHILLAG
Ian Chillag is the creator and host of the award-winning podcast »Everything is alive«. Previously he co-created and hosted the NPR podcast »How To Do Everything«, and produced the NPR programs »Fresh Air« and »Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me«. He is a writer and producer based in Brooklyn, New York City, where he works across all media. His work has appeared in McSweeney’s, the New York Times, A Public Space, Pop-Up Magazine, and more.
SEAN COLE
Sean Cole is a poet and audio journalist in Brooklyn, New York City. He’s been working in public radio and podcasting for almost thirty years, including more than a decade at the program »This American Life« where he was a reporter, producer, and occasional guest host. His poetry has appeared in various journals and magazines, both physical and virtual, and in the 2022 collection »After These Messages« from Lunar Chandelier Press. He also produces the satirical podcast »The Writer’s Allman Brother« which is available, as they say, wherever you get your podcasts.
CHRISTIAN GOTTWALT
As a journalist, Christian Gottwalt concentrated on the short form. He once designed »Gemischtes Doppel« and »Sagen Sie jetzt nichts« for the SZ magazine. For Apollon, he started writing fables.

Paul-Philipp Hanske and Benedikt Sarreiter are co-founders of the agency Nansen & Piccard and recently published the book »Ecstasies – States Beyond the Self« (Sorry Press, 2025).
HIROYA KURATA
Hiroya Kurata, born 1980 in Osaka, Japan, is a Florida-based artist who earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Parsons School of Design in New York City in 2003. Having grown up between Japan and the United States, his work reflects a unique cross-cultural perspective. Transforming ordinary observations into contemplative images, he reconstructs daily life and personal photographs to explore the emotional and atmospheric depths of seemingly mundane moments. He has exhibited internationally across the US, Japan, and Europe.
URSULA K. LE GUIN
Ursula K. Le Guin (1929–2018) was one of the most influential voices in modern speculative fiction, renowned for her intellectually rich and deeply humane storytelling. Across novels such as »The Left Hand of Darkness« and the »Earthsea« series, she explored themes of gender, power, language, and ecology with remarkable imagination and clarity. Her work bridged science fiction and literary fiction, earning her numerous awards and a lasting place in world literature. Her writing continues to inspire readers and writers alike through its moral depth, poetic style, and visionary scope.

Micah Nacht was born in Lower Bavaria in 1986 and works in social services. A political scientist, he writes prose and is currently working on his first play. In his free time, he enjoys botany and spends a lot of time in the woods.
DANIJELA PILIĆ
Danijela Pilić is a Munich based author, journalist and columnist. Born in Split, Croatia, she moved to Germany with her family at the age of ten. In her twenties, she spent six years studying and working in London. She has published three books and countless articles on fashion, beauty and lifestyle topics.
MATEUS PORTO
Mateus Porto, born 1996, is a Brazilian-American lens-based artist based in Brooklyn, New York. His work offers an extended view into the lives of the people he photographs, by creating larger-than-life images that allow the viewer to take in every detail. Originally a nightlife photographer, he began photographing people from the clubs, either in their homes or on the street. From this he created his first major series; »Firmament«, that received acclaim from publications such as Vogue and Vice Media as well as being featured in Foam Amsterdam’s »Adorned« group show in 2019. He has gone on to work with Madonna and FKA Twigs.
JUL QUANOUAI
Jul Quanouai is a French artist and illustrator. Originally from a small village near Bordeaux, he spent his childhood reading French and Belgian comics before moving to Paris to study graphic design. His work has been published in Zeit Magazin, Brick Magazine, Baffler, Kapsel Magazin, Revue Lagon, Pli Editions, and Drag City Records, and exhibited at RFI Gallery, Galerie M, Colorama, Superstructure, and éditions Matière. He lives and works in Toulouse.

Antonia Rauth is an editor at the Austrian daily Der Standard and host of the storytelling podcast »Inside Austria«, produced in collaboration with Der Spiegel. She conducted research on the Grossglockner case for a podcast series.
